TabTrade - Is It Worth Opening an Account

The Broker — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker.

The BlackBull connection is relevant. It says the person running this has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. But more reassuring than someone with no brokerage experience.

They launched with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. Most new brokers leads with marketing and bonuses. Tab Trade did the opposite. Unusual for a new broker.

The instrument list: FX, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that is a few months old, that coverage is solid.

What You Trade On

They offer: MT5, cTrader, and a WebTrader. Both MT5 and cTrader from one account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Use whichever you prefer.

MT5 is the default. Complete charts, Expert Advisors, tons of scripts and indicators. If you have traded on MetaTrader before, it is familiar territory.

cTrader is the cleaner option. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. Built-in algo trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 once they try it.

Direct FIX connectivity is available for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly on the roadmap. That will make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. Zero deposit requirement. Suits beginners.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your real cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that have spreads this tight ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, sub-20ms execution, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.

Execution Speed

The execution is the thing this broker actually does something different. Equinix data centres. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are proper execution targets. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, you will not notice. The point is the setup is serious. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the overall offering holds up. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

Regulation

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

However. The person running it came from BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for proper execution infrastructure. This does not guarantee anything. It does factor into your assessment.

The deal: no FCA or ASIC safety net. In exchange: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

The Bonus

Tab Trade has a deposit bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard sign-up bonus. You put money in, TabTrade credit extra capital. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you commit.
